Do you have a saving or investing mindset? Describe your style.

A combination of both. It’s been a big priority of mine to buy my first property, so I’ve been saving for a deposit for a number of years, while investing consistently at the same time.

Do you invest actively? Why or why not? If so, what is your approach in a nutshell? What level of risk are you comfortable with?

I use roundups and try to stick to a monthly direct debit. I’d say I go for the dollar-cost averaging approach. I’ve got a pretty healthy appetite for risk, especially while I’m still young and trying to build my portfolio.

What are you most likely to splurge on?

I love a good clean out of mywardrobe to simplify it, and I’ve been trying to consciously buy good qualityclothing that will last a long time, even if it does cost more.

Any resources that have helpedyou with your money - i.e., books, apps, websites, podcasts?

During a 2020 COVID lockdown, Idecided I really wanted to learn more about investing. I had a small amount ofmoney in a portfolio that my dad had invested for me when I was young off theback of my very short-lived childhood modelling career. I binged Equity Matespodcast to learn the ropes and then jumped in.

Any investments outside of Blossom?

Mostly a combination of different ETFs.

What’s the best piece of financial advice you’ve been given? Or one piece of financial advice you’d give your younger self?

Time in the market over timing the market.

Finally tell us something you wouldn’t want your in-laws to know about you.

I would drink Frank’s Hot Saucefrom the bottle if given the chance.
