Do you have a saving or investing mindset? Describe your style.

I have a strong savings mindset and embrace the concept of long-term compound interest. I’m only just starting out with my investing journey, so I’m slowly changing my mindset to be a more balanced mix.

Do you invest actively? Why or why not? If so, what is your approach in a nutshell? What level of risk are you comfortable with?

At the moment my only investment is in Blossom. It’s a good choice for my current risk profile. It’s been a super easy way for me to get started. I love my daily recurring payments – I find that automating my investing helps take the stress out of it.

What are you most likely to splurge on?

Travel! I love travelling – especially being able to explore new places, and experience different cultures and foods. Besides that, I only splurge when I really need something (new clothes, phone etc.)

Any resources that have helped you with your money - i.e., books, apps, websites, podcasts?

I’m not super engaged with money resources, but my Tik Tok feed always has different news and podcast talking about money and personal finance. I also am always talking with my friends who are more engaged with personal finance to learn from them.  

Any investments outside of Blossom?

Not at the moment but currently on the lookout to diversify!

What’s the best piece of financial advice you’ve been given? Or one piece of financial advice you’d give your younger self?

One invaluable financial advice I'd share with my younger self is to embrace change when it comes to investing or saving, and to keep an eye out on all the different options available. Keeping an open mind and switching to more favourable options could significantly boost the growth of your money over time.
